Sahaana has reached Finals of "Natiya Mayuri"competitions conducted for age group from 15 to 25 years by DD Pothigai Television Channel. Her Third round performance in the competition is recently telecast.

Sahaana participated in "Naatya Saagar"competitions in senior category conducted by Thyagayya TV recently and won 1st prize. He was endowed with a title ""Natiya Sironmani". She also performed for around 30 Minutes after the participation which is slotted to be telecast in Thyagayya Web channel TV.

Sahaana participated in National level Bharatanatyam Senior level competition "BalaKalaUtsav 2019" in New Delhi in the month of November 2019 run by SUNAINA - in co-ordination with Department of Art and Culture and few sponsors. She won 2nd prize in the competition. She performed "Devar Munivar"varnam composed by Lalgudi Sri Jeyaraman and choreographed by her Guru Yuva kala Bharathi "Archana Narayanamurthy".

Sahaana participated in Bharatanatyam Competition conducted by Tamil Nadu Brahmins Association Nanganallur branch on October 13th 2019. She performed a 10 minutes piece of "Devar Munivar" Varnam composed by Lalgudi Sri Jeyaraman with Choreo by her Guru Yuva Kala Bharathi Archana Narayanamurthy. She won the 1st prize and received a cash award from the association.

Sahaana felicitated after her performance well received by a large gathering from Kalaimamani Pandanallur Pandian with all musicians and Guru Yuva Kala Bharathi Archana Narayanamurthy witnessing the same.

Natiya mayuri - a Bharatanatyam Competition conducted by Pothigai TV is to be telecast from 3rd September 2019 - every Tuesday in coming weeks at 8.30PM in Pothigai TV Channel. Sahaana has reached Semifinals stage in the competition and waiting for further rounds.

Velammal Main Campus, Mugappair organized 34th  Vallal Pandidurai Competition to enrich the glorified classical Tamil language on 31st  August, 2019. This event has been celebrating this day successfully for the past 33 years. Around 250 leading schools  across Chennai took part in this prestigious competition. About 3000 students participated in various competitions comprising of Oratorical, Essay writing, Drawing, Music and Dance Competition (bharatanatyam)  that will reflect Tamil heritage and culture. Eminent judges judged the performance of the participants. Cash prizes worth Rs. 3 lakhs will be awarded to the deserving candidates along with a rolling trophy and certificates. Sahaana participated in Bharatanatyam category and WON 1st PRIZE beating 75 other participants. Competition conducted in Two Rounds. His performance was well received and appreciated by Judges and other personalities of Velammal School. Sahaana performed a part from Varnam and Thodaimangalam excel

Bangalore Maha Utsav 2019 had announced Bharatanatyam competitions for Juniors on 21 August 2019. Event was handled by Sri Sankara TV, Ayush TV , IAM in Bangalore at Freedom Park. This competition had several rounds and Sahaana won the 1st Runner up award.

Sahaana performed in 11th Annual Youth Festival of Dance conducted by RASA-ARPITA (Academy of Research and Performance of Indian Theatre Art) on 18th August 2019. She performaed a Thodaimangalam and Kavadi Chindu. She was appreciated by many stalwarts including Dr. Ambika Kameshwar, Renowned Bharatanatyam Artist and Teacher - Divyasena madam. Kala Ratna - Archana Narayanamurthy - her Guru also witnessed the performance and showered her blessings. NrityaKadambini Program Performance on 11 August 2019. She had performed Bho Shambo, Devar Munivar (Varnam). Maadu Meikkum Kannae (Patham) and Vande Matharam. Guru Archana Narayanamurthy's choreography and Sahaana's performance were appreciated by the gathering. 

Sahaana in SHIVANUGRAHA TRUST 19th YEAR DANCE COMPETITION ON Dr. RUKMINI RAMANI'S COMPOSITIONS held on Sunday, July 28th 2019 at 9.30 a.m at P S Higher Secondary School Complex, R K Mutt Road, Mylapore, Chennai – 600004  Sahaana had won 2nd prize in Junior category in this competition. She had won prizes in Sub Junior category in the years 2013 and 14 also.

Sahaana participated in Bharathanatyam Solo Senior competition conducted as part of NAADAM NRITYOTHSAV 2019 in TRICHUR during April last week. This fair was conducted for three days and participants were from all over the country. Sahaana was awarded "Natya Gunasree" for her Sathvika Abhinaya.  Sahaana's performed a part of Devar Munivar Varnam and show cased Gajendra Moksham and MAhabali- Vamana story in this. The Choreo of Guru. Yuva Kala Bharathi was also appreciated for the completeness and presentation of Sancharis. She was appreciated immediately off the stage by Gurus of different other dance schools after her performance.

Laasya Nrithya Sangamam 2019 festival organized by Lasya Kalai Maiyam Walajahpet was conducted for three days at ArulMigu. Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Walajahpet. Sahaana participated in the group program of their dance school Pandanallur School of Arts, Chennai with her other dance co students. A Margam with Pushpanajali, Kauthuvam, Varnam, Padam and Thillana were performed. Orchestra included Sri Mayavaram Viswanathan on Miruthangam, Sri Thiagarajan on Vocal and Sri. Vasanth Kumar on Flute. Nattuvangam and choreo by Guru Yuva Kala Bharathi Archana Narayanamurthy. Sahaana did the compere for the program.

SAHAANA AT K K NAGAR LORD IYAPPAN TEMPLE, Chennai on 14th April 2019 - the auspicious Tamil and Vishu New Year with her Dance School mates. She performed the pushpanjali followed by Ganesh Mahathmiyam written by Swami Santhananda Saraswathi - the mentor of Sahaana's Guru "Yuva Kala Bharathi" Archana Narayanamurthy. She also performed a Varnam and Thillana with her Dance school mates. She did the compering for the entire program. Her dance mates performed pathams - " Enna Thavam" and "Kaliyuga varadhan". The temple committee felicitated the dancers with prasathams and blessings.

Sahaana was invited to perform at "Vazhuvur Natyanjali" at Sri. Veerateswarar Thiru Kovil conducted by "Mayiladuthurai Tamilisai Sangam" on the auspicious day of Shivrathri - the 4th March 2019. She performed Pushpanjali, Natesa Kauthuvam and a Varnam by Pandanallur Sreenivasa Pillai with the blessings of her Guru. "Yuva Kala Bharathi" Archana Narayanamurthy.  

NATYARATNA JUNIORS FINALS PERFORMANCE OF SAHAANA SUKUMAR

PRAVAH - a program of IRCEN... Sahaana with her bharatanatyam class mates of Pandanallur School of arts under Yuva Kala Bharathi Archana Narayanamurthy performed a margam at Sri Thyaga Brahma Gana Saha, Vani Mahal Mini Hall T Nagar Chennai on 9th February 2019 from 6:30 to 8:00pm presided by Great Dancer "Bharata Kala Ratna" Thiru J Suryanarayanamurthy. They performed a pushpanjali followed by Shanmuga Kauthuvam, Varnam by Pandanallur Sri. Srinivasa Pillai, a padam by Subramanya Bharathi and concluded with a Thillana of Dr. Balamuralikrishna. This was conducted as a program called "Pravah" organised by IRCEN (India International Rural Cultural Center). This was the maiden "Group" performance of Pandanallur School of Arts and it came out in a splendid way with appreciation from all quarters.

Sahaana Sukumar performed in Rasika Ranjani Sabha on 15th January 2019 under the auspices of Anusham Arts Academy. Sahaana Sukumar accompanied by her Guru. Yuva Kala Bharathi Archana Narayanamurthy M L on nattuvangam (and choreography), Mr. Praveen in Vocal, Mr Senthil in Mirudangam, Mr. Devaraj in Flute performed an hour of Bharathanatyam recital on 15th January 2019 at RR Sabha. She performed a pushpanjali followed by Natesa Kauthuvam, Varnam - Devar Munivar by Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman, Sri Oothukadu Venkatasubbaiyar's Maadu Meikum Kannae - the padam and completed the show with a Thillana by Sri Sreenivasa pillai. She received positive comments from all with advice on more emphasis on forceful and powerful adavus. Sahaana Sukumar performing in Rasika Ranjani Sabha Chennai on 15th January 2019...
